Tuve la grande bendicion de trabar con un grupo de LeaderTreks que vino a trabajar en La Providencia. Trabajamos en construccion de aulas y en una escuelita Biblica tambien. ¡Fui muy bendecido por ellos! / I had the blessing to work with a group of fantastic people from LeaderTreks which came to work in Providence Ministries. We were able to work in the construction of a schoolroom and got to host a vacation Bible school. I was so blessed by them!

¡Tambien vino su hermana gemela Danielle, la cual es una de mis mejores amigas y una grande bendicion tambien! / Her sister Danielle, who also is a best friend and a huge blessing was able to come as well
Viajamos por las montañas compartiendo de el Evangelio en escuelas publicas y pude conocer mas de la belleza de Honduras / We went through the mountains to share the Gospel in schools and got to know
Tambien nos acompañaron tres jovenes de Texas, los cuales fueron una grande bendicion tambien / Three young people from Texas were able to accompany us and bless us too
Tambien fue el 15vo cumpleaños de Marcy / It was also Marcy's 15th birthday!
En el ultimo dia de esta semana viajando, las calles estuvieron temporalmente cerradas, haciendonos esperar algun par de horas. / On the last day of that week traveling, the roads were temporarily closed, forcing us to wait a couple hours beside the road.

Tambien pudimos viajar a Tocoa para trabajar en la obra con los hermanos de alla. Fue una semana caliente y polvosa, pero de gran crecimiento y servicio / We were also able to travel to Tocoa to help with the mission there! It was one of the hottest and dustiest weeks, but it was also a time for growth and service.
En esta escuela, no contabamos con no tener electricidad para poder dar el programa acostumbrado, entonces tuvimos que improvisar y gritar algo / In this school, we couldn't count on electricity to work with our usual evangelistic program, so we had to improvise and holler a bit.

Tuvimos nuestra ultima tocada con Caleb Patterson (derecha, friend and brother) quien este año partio a la universidad / We also had our last gig with Caleb Patterson (derecha, amigo y hermano) who this year left to college.

Empeze a jugar mas futbolito / Starte playing more soccer
Encendimos varias linternas / Lit up many lanterns
Nos suvimos a un tanque de agua durante un frente frio y estuvimos arriba por 3 horas / Went up the "water tower" during a cold front and spent 3 hours up there
Vi a Jon dejarse creser el pelo y enamorarse / Got to see Jon grow out his hair and fall in love
Descubri que Leslie es mejor modelo que Marcy. / Found out Leslie is better model than Marcy. sorry Marcy
Vimos Catching Fire / Watched Catching Fire twice
Conoci a Ahnalies y nos hicimos amigos / Met Ahnalies and she pretty great and we're friends
Pude pasar mas tiempo y acercarme mas a los Montoya, mi segunda familia. Ellos se fueron de viaje, razon por la cual no pude verlos durante Navidad y las fiestas de año nuevo, pero espero la hayan pasado bien. / I spent more time and became closer to the Montoyas, my second family. They went on furlough, so I couldn't see them during Christmas and new years, but I hope they had a good time!
Hay mucho mas que paso este año que no pude documentar yo mismo, pero esto fue lo que logre. Lo especial de este año fue la gente con la que pude estar, y el servicio que pudimos hacer juntos. Conoci gente de suma importancia al igual que pude fortalecer relaciones con mi familia y amigos. Gloria doy a Dios por este año y por las personas que el puso en mi camino.

There is a lot more that happened this year that I did not document myself. What made this year special, is the people I could spend it with, and the service we could give together. I met some of critical importance and strenghtened relationships with friends and family. All praise to God for this year and for the lives put in my way!
